Surf at Hart Beach Quiksilver Surfschool

Hart Beach is located on the beach of Scheveningen, right in front of the best surf spot of the Benelux: all year round you can learn to surf the waves of the North Sea at our surf school!

Welcome to Hart Beach Quiksilver Surfschool on the northern beach of Scheveningen, near the harbour! The surf spot where you learn to surf, rent your gear or take a shower after you have been in the water. We are open all year round so that not only in the warm season, but also in winter you can face the Dutch waves wrapped up in our warm winter wetsuits.

You can book a lesson at our surf school and learn to surf from our experienced instructors, all of whom have a passion for surf, the sea and the beach! All instructors have a BSA & lifeguard certificate and are happy to teach you all the ins and outs about surfing in a safe way!

Our surf crew is ready for you every day to provide you with gear, to update you on the current state of the waves or to chat about boards, surfers and swell.

What should I bring for my first surf or kitesurf lesson?

Basic necessities include swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel. We provide the necessary surf or kitesurf equipment.

Are the lessons suitable for beginners?

Yes, our lessons are designed for both beginners and advanced participants. We tailor the level based on your experience.

What happens if the weather is not suitable for surfing or kitesurfing?

Safety is our priority. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, lessons may be rescheduled or canceled. We will keep you informed in a timely manner.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, we offer private lessons for individuals or small groups, ensuring personal attention and faster progress.
